No problems now, you've fixed the time zone issue.

Ok, I'm going to consider this a non-issue now unless someone brings up any other problems with it.

I voted for muvluv Alternative, Swan Song and RuiTomo. I wanted to vote Eden* but RuiTomo hasn't been getting enough love since Coμ's release and I sure as hell want it to get into the final poll.

maybe people who liked the anime won't like the VN.
Why not? In that case, those would be people who haven't read a visual novel before and either found it complicated or didn't understand it D:

It's a part of the writing, not his character.
In my point of view, it's the same thing, as that "writing" makes the character.

I'm really curious as to how ELFail determined that it falls under the title of 'psychological slice of life'. The only psychological things in the game were the small bits of backstory a couple of characters get.
It's "psychological" cause you're introduced to the character's mind and you can know what he thinks about anything he thinks. I'm not taking this "psychological" meaning too deeply...

I wanted to vote Eden*
I also wanted to vote Eden*, but I discarded it cause I believe if it wins, Amaterasu staff will have to make a stand alone patch as ef. I hope not to be the case though...

By the way, I voted for 11eyes, Narcissu Side 2nd & 3rd and Swan Song <3

Too Fail to be true... I'm the most Fail in the world, and I'm proud of it <3

Even Araya Souren agrees: "Your origin is Failness. I don't understand why you are existing..."

Anyway, my Failness will be back in the next poll, so see you then :3

I know I haven't read KiraKira, but...

Isn't this called "first person narration"?

Yeah, psychological novels always tend to use first person narration, so you could call "psychological" to some visual novels that always show you too much thoughts about something from the narrator. In case of Kira Kira, Maejima, the main character, always goes into details about something, even trivial matters, and thinks deeper about them.

My implicit point was that "pscyhological" implies more thematic content that actually goes into the way people think in an unusual amount of depth (cue examples from CC), not just a few scenes of "oh shit what do I do now" like every VN has.

You're also right, but I think that would depend on the person too. Well, I said I wasn't taking the meaning too deeply, so it would be best to leave this aside.

Since voting in my own poll is kind of an epic point miss, and we have over 1000 people voting (yeah...not kidding, it was nuts) so my vote wouldn't change much of anything.

The only reason I would vote is if 10th and 11th place are tied and need to be broken up. And no one will ever know if I actually did that, but since the resulting 10th has no chance anyway no one will ever care.
