Also, I'd say there's a decent chance that Seinarukana will be picked up by Dakkodango after they will finish Aselia translation..

I'd like to recommend Wizard's Climber. Combination of strategy rpg and Princess Maker-ish gameplay. Has decent ratings on erogamescape.

How about Nursery Rhyme? It's by the same makers of Itsusora, Lump of sugar i think.
Nancy: Dale! Get dressed we're going to go steal a news van!
Dale: It's the perfect crime! How will they report it?

AIR project seems to be active so there's probably no need to include this.
If by 'active' you mean 'a person who doesn't know shit about Japanese ATLASes a couple lines every now and then', then yes, it's active.

And that's enough. If we rate pre-existing translation project by subjective translator skills or accomplishment, most projects even on tlwiki including games already--poorly--translated can be hijacked or included to the list. Let Ixrec decide on the final matter.

For now, my policy is that any active translation project--regardless of tl quality--disqualifies a candidate.  Although I certainly wouldn't mind being asked to retranslate something that was done horribly in the past, any tl is better than none, so I'd like to avoid doing that until most of the untouched god-tier games have been translated (which will probably take years).

However it does still have to be "active."  Translation quality aside, if the project is never going to finish, it may as well not exist.  There is at least one such game already on the current list.

I have serious doubts MaW!3 will pass the standards of excellence threshold.  Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing the game, and I probably couldn't fully enjoy its greatness due to machine translation, but it never struck me as anything above "average".

Daibanchou/Big Bang Age might probably getting a translation project; we can't know for sure until the guy make an official announcement. Here's his recruitment thread made in /jp/ few days ago: http://archive.easymodo.net/cgi-board.pl/jp/thread/3091348

I bet many of the eroges would not be able to be labelled as "excellent". Beats Blade Haruka? Not really too great when compared to other alicesoft titles.

On another note, i would like to nominate an innocent grey game, Kara no Shoujo. Great plot with mystery and suspense. Art is arguably near the upper tiers. Pretty unique compared to mainstream eroges.

For Yoakena, which version would you be translating?

Yoake Mae Yori Ruriiro Na
The original version with eroscenes.

Yoake Mae Yori Ruriiro Na - Brighter Than Dawning Blue - for PC
A port of the PS2 version. No eroscenes, but two new routes. This originally came as a bonus with the Premium Edition of Moonlight Cradle, but AUGUST is releasing it seperately next month for 5000 yen.

Personally, I'd go with the non-ero version (biased, since I have that one.) Ero is great, but Estel is better. ;D

Because I doubt that candidate has any real chance of getting to the finals, I will simply not bother answering this question unless I am proven horribly wrong. Forgive my pragmatic rudeness.

I think polyphonica was nominated before on this thread but I'll just second the suggestion. Insani did a demo translation awhile back so the engine is hacked but the style of the language seems to be quite different from normal speech so there might be some translation difficulties.

Definitely have to say it was a refreshing read, it seemed more... poetic than other VNs. Also like the fact that its a kinetic novel, not the same recycled dating sim structure over and over (get a thing going with the heroine, once you're together expect some crisis, crisis is miraculously resolved, heroine falls even more in love, end of story). Plus, you get a deeper relationship than boy meets girl, falls in love, h scene, fin :D.
