The first reason is, after finishing MuvLuv (Extra and Unlimited), I've decided it was good, but not excellent, so it's off the list. Perhaps more importantly, I'm sick of the dialogue revolving around how to prevent /m/ from spamming my poll, rather than which of these VNs actually deserves to be tled.

The second reason is that the CC project will be done within the week, and I'm thinking I'll close nominations one day after its formal completion, so if you know of any god-tier games that aren't on here, hurry up. But please, god-tier only. I can't stop you from nominating crap, but we'd all be better off if you didn't.

Excellent question. First, I have broad tastes, so I like almost anything and everything that doesn't suck, regardless of genre or gimmick. Second, I'm doing this for you guys, so your opinions matter. And I have faith in democratic systems like this (ie, I don't think the winner could possibly be something I won't enjoy translating).

If he only likes translating 'god-tier' stuff, why the fuck did he translate MOON.?

That was my first translation project ever, so I wanted to get a foothold with something that was relatively short and easy but still very good. Though MOON probably isn't god-tier, I still feel it is excellent (albeit highly polarizing).

Ixrec is a cool (insane) bro though. Apparently he went straight for the ELPOD scenes as soon as he started translating Moon.

Not straight for them--I tled the game in chronological order--but when I first posted that I wanted to tl it, I did specify that I'd be happy to do the Elpod scenes, and they were among the most interesting scenes in the game for me (both to read and tl).

It's good drama, but not quite god tier. I haven't finished all the endings yet, but so far I'd place it above memories off and under Haruka ni aogi uruwashino.

Never7 is a great game, plenty difficult to translate... I couldnt play through it because I had trouble understanding enough... Ive ordered I/O after seing it here, hadnt heard about it ~ though I guess it will be quite hard to read as well. From what I know, both have had relatively little exposure, and licensings projects were dropped...

probably as a last-minute suggestion, i'd like to nominate PP -Pianissimo- by Innocent Grey http://vndb.org/v564 since i dont see it on the list.....even if i doubt it will be taken due to the massive competition, id like to hear others opinions about it

I dont know pianissimo, but if memory serves Innocent Grey also made Kara no shoujo, which was a great and original game. It was also one of the few with gore. From the summary, pianissimo also seems to have a detective feel to it... Kara no shoujo had quite a lot of choices (and thus bad ends...).

I'm greatly in support of Liar-Soft's Forest being a candidate, since it's supposedly the title that's most deserving of a translation (Within Liar-soft). Can that please be added to the list?

I'm completely amazed no one nominated Piyokorota's wonderful game "WILD ANDROGYNOUS" yet. Seeing the popularity of "The Maiden Rape Assault: Violent Semen Inferno", it is certainly possible that's going to be the final game getting translated, since we clearly need such a rare gem available in english. I'm humbly requesting it hereby to add it on the nomination list, since I can easily imagine that there are many people who don't want anymore of this boring "REAL DEAL" and "MOEGE" etc stuff, while there are absolutely no games at all on the list for people with unusual tastes.
