Sadly it's the bad Fate and not the loli one. :X

.........................................

Correct. Loli Fate in Nanoha movie, bad Fate=the other movie. (The... Fate one)
A whole movie worshipping Fate-chan would be awesome, right? But 20hours of reading time squeezed into 2hours (or less)... well.

No, but I do know the tv series... and that one has already quite a few plot-holes. Well, that and I'm not really a big fan of fate/stay. It was a nice anime but nothing absolutely awesome.

However, I've more or less lost faith in visual-novel adaptions.
Most simply suck.
Others are nice as long as you don't know the novel.
Everything else is pretty rare. (sadly)

As for UBW I personally only expect some great looking fights. It's probably better that way. :)

Deen's recent anime (Umineko) wasn't really something you could call a good adaption. They've done better with Fate/Stay, but... well, we'll see in 6-9months or something.

To be fair, there still are those 10% of the adaptations that are actually good (School Days, Demonbane, School Days etc.) but in most cases, they do utterly fail (11eyes, Tsukihime etc.).
For some reason, I just had the urge to rewatch Code Geass, so ~Jyane!~

Phantom. Requiem. Period.
It and School Days are the best eroge-->Anime adaptations I have ever seen.

Still need to watch Requiem.  I don't plan to do so since I want to play/finish the visual novel first.  That is, unless Requiem is like SD and focuses on primarily only one game path or is its own path.

Phantom focuses on one game path, but gives a completely original ending.
Honestly, I think you could watch it, then play the visual novel.

Hm, maybe I'll watch Requiem once I'm done with EVA then.  It's just adaptions like CLANNAD that I can't watch - ones that spoil most of the paths ands skims over details to include many arcs.

I'm not trying to start arguing and flamez, but OOC, what exactly did people not like about Umineko anime? I've heard very few articulate opnions and a lot of LOL DEEN LOL SUXXXX LOLLORSKATEZX. The pacing problems and stuff left out were a big one for me, but what about you guys?

kon chiaki is a fraud of a director who should restrict herself to shitty BL anime instead of trying to adapt source material she clearly doesn't give a shit about

also, deen is a singularly awful studio. the only watchable shows they've ever made are touka gettan and seitokai no ichizon

put them together and you get a horrible mess feat. QUALITY, terrible voice acting (due to terrible casting), and truly coal pacing

tl;dr there's basically nothing more to be said than lol deen

..................

Except now, looking her up on ANN, I see she's credited with the "dramatization" of the Midori no Hibi anime. Can I blame her for it sucking?

kon chiaki is most likely to blame for everything wrong with this horrible world

along with m.o.e. and that dude who directed the second and third seasons of zero no tsukaima

Oh, god, don't remind me of that one... After reading the ZnT Light Novels I realised how bad the 2nd and 3rd seasons were... Too much fanservice, way too little plot focus, meh
Hell I even don't want to remember what studio did that 'adaptation'... it seems that 'there is no Zero no Tsukaima anime'... Dx
(To its defense, the first season was acceptable)

Back on topic again... I don't want to google it up, so... when is the F/SN movie coming to dvd?
Who am I kidding? I won't update this soon---
